The Remix OS still moving tab, surging ahead with new devices, new versions of the system, fat and interesting partnerships with companies in the sector, as is the case of Acer.
The startup Chinese Jide Remix OS aims to turn Android into a desktop operating system, for it relies on creating your own hardware, or let other partners that take their development performance. Today we have a major renovation of devices; we are going to count slowly:
Remix Pro, the 2 in 1
As you can guess from the pictures, it is a tablet generously sized to which we can place a keyboard, which is still a 2 to 1. It is interesting that advantage to release her version 3.0 Remix OS, which Android is mounted on Marshmallow, and say it is much more stable.
Initially intended for the Chinese market, it will expand to other territories in successive months. The specifications are quite good, featuring screen 12-inches with high resolution – 2160×1440 pixels – and a chipset Snapdragon 652.
The team is well complemented by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of memory, which can be expanded via microSD. No missing cameras of 5 and 8 megapixels, and there is a battery 9.000 mAh. All this weighs 640 grams, no keyboard.
Remix Pro design makes sense if they want to teach their particular vision of Android: it can run applications in windows that can be resized, presenting different applications on the desktop at a time.
Acer plays with Intel and OS Remix
We have seen major companies supporting the platform, as is the case of AOC, but we can say that Acer is the first large that manufactures a device with OS Remix. It is introduced in this new adventure with Aspire laptop.
Regarding what Jide offers, Acer switch to Intel processors with the Aspire ES1-131, namely an Intel Celeron N3150. Its screen is 11.6 inches; there is 4GB of RAM, 500GB disk, and no appreciable differences in appearance with computers that things usually offered with Windows.

The interesting thing is that between Jide and Acer will work optimizing Intel platform architectures, this is beneficial for everyone, since “Remix OS for PC” is available for anyone who wants to try it.
AOC puts the all-in-one
