Another year, another game or rather games as Play Station 4 willing be rolling out close to 30 new games in 2018 and there is always a possibility for even more. Play Station continues to attract more and more people and stats now show that Play Station is hooking even the elderly into video games. Deadbolt (20 February)
Deadbolt is an action/transformer game developed by Hoopoo Games. In Deadbolt, you have to play the bad and evil guy, no space for nice guys here, unfortunately. You play as a reaper whose objective on the planet is to destroy all the living. As a reaper, you have all the ammunition to destroy and kill your targets either as individuals or as a gathering. However, the game is quite intriguing in that regardless of the amount of ammunition you have, you have one single weakness and that is you die in one shot, therefore, you have to be as stealthy as you can to avoid that one shot that will end your life.
The Persistence (20 February)
Set on board a scientific vessel, The Persistence is a stealth horror game in which you are the hunted and not the hunter. In The Persistence, you and a group of scientists in the year 2521 travel to space conducting a major experiment. However, while up there the vessel develops a mechanical fault and you and all of your friends are mutated. While you are half-dead, evil transformers get on board your vessel and one by one, you and your friends wake up and try to destroy the transformers and help The Persistence to function normally so you can return to earth.
Gravel (27 February)
Gravel is an arcade/racing game developed by Milestone 5 r 1. It’s all about adrenaline in this fun and action-packed game. You can choose any destination you want to race in in the world in this game, but all of those have to be in any of these four terrains, Speed Cross, Stadium, Wild Rush and Cross Country. Gravel comes with a training mode in all four terrains and is playable by two or more players.
The Last Part of Us II (Date and Month unknown but coming out in 2018)
The Last Part of Us II is an action-adventure and survival horror game coming as a sequel to The Last Part of Us released in 2013 for PS 3. The protagonists from the sequel, Ellie and Joey return. A number of zombified aliens are after you and the only choice you have is to run for survival. Once you are caught, you are dead. The Last Part of Us II is expected to be as successful as its sequel that won the Most Anticipated Game of the Year (rewarded by PlayStation Blog) and Most Wanted (rewarded by Golden Joysticks)
