Today Qualcomm had important news to tell: just talked about the new version of its fast charge technology, Quick Charge 4.0, but that option is debuting in a processor that also is an important step for this manufacturer.
This is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, a microprocessor manufactured with 10 nanometer technology that allows Samsung to integrate 30% more components in the same space and promises to yield 27% to 40% lower consumption. More power and more battery life that we will see in the first devices by the middle of next year.
Snapdragon 835: More efficient and powerful than ever
This processor is placed as top end of the whole family of mobile processors Qualcomm, thus displacing the throne to the Snapdragon 820 and 821 which had hitherto occupied this prominent position.
Qualcomm has not given specific details about the time -these processor will be unveiled at CES 2017, but the use of such technology manufacturing Samsung surely entail significant improvements in efficiency section.

What will be the first device that integrates this processor? Some point and that this could be a protagonist in one of the two versions that Samsung seems to be preparing its Galaxy S8, but that rumor is contradicted by indicating that the launch will occur sooner rather than later to try to forget as soon The fiasco of the Galaxy Note 7.
Surely the Mobile World Congress of February 2017 allows us to meet the first smartphones based on this processor, so stay tuned because this will undoubtedly be one of the star processors of 2017. It is curious, however, that have made the leap to this nomenclature and have skipped the theoretical successor of the range, which would have been 830. Maybe because of the technological leap at 10nm? Who knows?
