Imagine being able to sleep peacefully and wake up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, or the alarm sounds and a few minutes and have coffee ready without having to get out of bed. As the creator Joshua Renouf London has not only imagined but has designed and produced an alarm able to.
This is The Barisieur, which after two years facing the final stages of creating a campaign Kickstarter. It is exactly what it seems, a clock with an integrated coffee to synchronize our alarms with the preparation of coffee and tea and all with an elegant and attractive design.
The Barisieur, so its design
The Barisieur is finished in plastic Bakelite with an LED display to view the time clock. In his left side we have two spinners to set our alarm and how many minutes before or after we have ready our coffee or tea. Next to the LED display will have a lever to turn off the alarm and a button to activate the coffee without having programmed.
On this basis we find an elegant wooden tray with metal details. It has a small induction hob to heat the water, a slot to put a small bottle with milk, and a coaster for the mug. These coasters can be removed to put the set top of any table. At the base of the clock there is a small box with two compartments to make coffee, sugar and tea we want to use.
Its creator says in the Kickstarter campaign that the idea of creating this watch maker was inspired by the psychology behind sleep and routines that promote better sleep at night. Or at least that’s the way they sell, because if we want to have a coffee ready in the morning we have to leave everything ready the night before.
This means that at night we will have to get used to the routine prepared to leave water in the pot, put the coffee in the filter, filling the bottle of milk and set the time you want coffee. In return, the morning we will save all that work and we can wake up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
The price, its major obstacle
Video crowdfunding campaign itself makes it clear that they are not willing to sacrifice the design of your product, and that is precisely why turned to Kickstarter. And of course, such a careful design results in a higher price.
Still, the 380,000 pounds to fund the project ask today have already exceeded 120,000, which ends 29 days of the campaign seems to be indicative that they will achieve their goal. Once the campaign, the team redesigned the product to send to factory. It is envisaged that the final product will reach your buyers by June 2017.
